6 weeks old

How horrible is it that I haven't posted anything on here about Ruby and she is almost 6 weeks old already!! Oh my, how our lives have changed in the last month and a half! It has been interesting to say the least getting used to having a newborn around the house again. The Fritz family trip to Mankato last weekend was exhausting - I don't know how I did it before with two little ones! The girls have been a great help - feeding, bathing, rocking, singing, changing diapers, etc. Ruby is beautiful of course, but has been a bit on the fussy side, so we are still trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. The days have gone by so fast and soon I will be back at work - boo!!

Baby Fritz

Well, baby Fritz has yet to make his/her appearance. The "official" due date was October 27th, and the girls are still wondering what is taking so long. They are very excited to see their new little brother/sister. On the up side, I will be home for Halloween so I can go trick-or-treating with the girls and there is not school on Monday, so we can spend some quality time together (cleaning the house from top to bottom) before the baby arrives. This is my plan anyway - and we all know that little one's always follow the mommy's "plan"!

Baby Fritz!

As most of you probably know - we are expecting a baby in the next couple weeks.  We didn't find out the gender and are really excited to meet the little one - questions like Who will it look like?, How big will it be?, What should we name it?  keep popping up into my head.  Keep checking back for the new baby update:)

A couple good friends of mine are starting their own photography studio/business and asked to "practice" on my big ol' belly!  Here are a couple of the cute, cute, cute pics they took just the other day.

Is Winter Over Yet???

Why do I live in Minnesota again??  I HATE Winter!  If I didn't love basketball as much as I do, I would be in a serious depression during the months of December - March, it is the only thing that keeps me sane these days!

Please help us Mr. Ground Hog!

Happy New Year!

Wow, how time flies!!  It has been soooooo long since I last logged on here and actually posted something.

I have finally realized that sending out Christmas cards is not going to happen this year and Happy New Year cards is maybe a little over the top, so blogging our letter is the next best thing, right???  Here goes...

Things are pretty much the same here at the Fritz's.  I am coaching basketball again this year for LSH and the girls are doing really well.  So far we have posted an 8-3 record, but have some tough teams coming up in the next month or so, then play-offs.  I continue to teach 6th and 7th grade social studies at Le Sueur-Henderson and love almost every minute of it (but I enjoy my time off too).  I am trying to learn to make "rag rugs" from my grandmother, but don't seem to get home enough to get the hang of it - maybe this summer.

Craig is still busy at the Sports Institute and spends much of his week-end time and any time-off out on the lake ice fishing.  He says he isn't playing baseball this summer, but we'll see when the snow starts to melt and spring fever begins to set in.  His work around the house is never ending, but the money is - so projects have to wait....again.

The girls are still as busy as ever.  Olivia is loving 1st grade and continues to amaze us with the knowledge she brings home on a daily basis.  She enjoys reading, coloring, puzzles, and continues to tell us that she likes "boy stuff".  Not sure if that translates into "I wanna be a really good athlete", but we hope so.  One of her favorite things to do is annoy her younger sister any way that she can, but she can also be a very protective "big sis" too.

Rhyan - oh Rhyan...let's see.  She is the oldest one at daycare now during the day and has become quite the "mama bear".  More bossy than loving though - I think.  She is in pre-school 4 days and week and rarely asks when she gets to go to kindergarten (which worries me a little). She loves to dress-up, play barbies, re-arrange (not sure where she gets this from???) and bug her sister.

We love our girls more and more every day and are really starting to see their personalities develop - what will the future bring???

We want to wish everyone a very happy and blessed New Year!!  Happy 2010!

Love,
The Fritz's
